ADHD podcasts worth your time: UK and US shows compared
Last checked 11 September 2026. Written by the Divergent Products team. How we pick.

What are the best ADHD podcasts?
The best ADHD podcasts for UK listeners are ADHD Chatter, weekly hour-long interviews with experts and late-diagnosed guests, and the ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast for women's lives, hormones and parenting. For short practical episodes, Hacking Your ADHD mostly runs 15 to 30 minutes. The ADHD Adults Podcast has stopped but keeps a 200-episode archive.
Our picks
-
Best for: Long interviews with experts and late-diagnosed guests
ADHD Chatter
By Alex Partridge (host), sold by Apple Podcasts
Alex Partridge, diagnosed at 34, puts out a weekly episode that usually runs about an hour. Recent episodes lean heavily into autism, which suits AuDHD listeners and may not suit you if you came for ADHD only.

Best for: Women with ADHD, from diagnosis to hormones
ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast
By Kate Moryoussef (host), sold by Apple Podcasts
Kate Moryoussef, diagnosed at 40, releases about two episodes a week: solo ones of around 22 minutes and interviews of 45 to 65. It won an Independent Podcast Award; the focus is women, so it is narrower by design.

Best for: Short practical episodes, one topic each
Hacking Your ADHD
By William Curb (host), sold by Apple Podcasts
William Curb, a US host with ADHD, releases weekly, mostly 15 to 28 minutes. Several recent episodes are rebroadcasts, so check the date before you assume it is new.

Best for: Coaching-style conversations with a deep archive
ADHD reWired
By Eric Tivers (host), sold by Apple Podcasts
Eric Tivers, a US clinical social worker diagnosed with ADHD at 19 and later autistic, has made more than 560 episodes of 40 to 70 minutes. New ones have slowed to roughly monthly in 2026.

Best for: A finished UK series to start from episode one
The ADHD Adults Podcast
By James Brown, Alex Conner and Sam Brown (hosts), sold by Apple Podcasts
James Brown, Alex Conner and Sam Brown made 200 episodes, mostly 40 to 45 minutes, mixing research with listener letters and games. No new episodes since November 2025.

Best for: AuDHD adults who like professionals speaking personally
Divergent Conversations
By Dr Megan Anna Neff and Patrick Casale (hosts), sold by Divergent Conversations
Dr Megan Anna Neff and Patrick Casale, AuDHD mental health professionals, talk about their own lives and interview others. The show paused in February 2026 after episode 144; the archive stays up.

Best for: Bitesize episodes between longer weekly ones
I Have ADHD Podcast
By Kristen Carder (host), sold by Apple Podcasts
Kristen Carder, an ADHD coach diagnosed at 21, has 449 episodes on Apple Podcasts, with bitesize ones of 12 to 16 minutes between longer ones of 44 to 73. Marked explicit, so check before playing it in the car with children.

Best for: Expert answers rather than lived experience
ADHD Experts Podcast
By ADDitude (publisher), sold by Apple Podcasts
ADDitude magazine's weekly show has more than 600 episodes, each about an hour with an ADHD expert taking questions from adults and parents. It is American and expert-led, the one show here not built around a host's own ADHD.

What makes an ADHD podcast worth your time?
An ADHD podcast is worth your time if the hosts have lived experience, the episode length fits the gaps in your day, and it is still making new episodes or has an archive worth working through. These are the things to check before you subscribe.
- Episode length in minutes. Shows here range from 12 minutes (the I Have ADHD Podcast's bitesize episodes) to over an hour (ADHD Chatter, ADHD reWired). Match it to a real slot: a 15-minute walk to school, a 45-minute commute, an hour of ironing.
- Still active or finished. Two of the eight have stopped or paused. A finished show is fine if you like starting at episode one, and less useful if you want the latest on NHS waiting lists or new research.
- Who is talking. Seven of the eight shows are hosted by people who have said publicly that they have ADHD. The ADHD Experts Podcast is the exception: experts answering questions, which is a different listen from hosts describing their own lives.
- UK or US. One is UK-made, two are UK-linked, four are American and one does not say. It matters most when the talk turns to diagnosis, medication access and rights at work.
- Format. Interview, co-host chat or solo tips. If you drift during long interviews, a solo show with one topic per episode may hold you better than a two-hour conversation.
- Back catalogue. ADHD reWired has more than 560 episodes. Search a show's archive for your topic (sleep, money, relationships) rather than starting at the top.

Which ADHD podcast should you start with?
Start with the one that matches the question you have right now, not the one with the most episodes.
- Just diagnosed as an adult. ADHD Chatter. Alex Partridge was diagnosed at 34, and the format is him asking experts and other late-diagnosed guests the questions you probably have. Search the archive for "diagnosis" before you work forwards.
- A woman with ADHD, or wondering if you are. The ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast. Kate Moryoussef was diagnosed at 40 and covers diagnosis, hormones, parenting and relationships, with short solo episodes if an hour is too much.
- You want one practical idea at a time. Hacking Your ADHD. Each episode takes a single topic, such as getting organised or getting started, and most are under half an hour.
- You like a long, thoughtful chat. ADHD reWired. Eric Tivers is a US clinical social worker and ADHD coach, diagnosed with ADHD at 19 and later autistic, and the show has more than a decade of episodes.
- You want to binge a finished series. The ADHD Adults Podcast. Three UK hosts, 200 episodes, mostly 40 to 45 minutes, mixing research with listener letters and games.
- You are AuDHD. Divergent Conversations. Two mental health professionals who are themselves AuDHD talk about their own lives. It paused in February 2026, but the archive stays up.
- You want something short that is still weekly. The I Have ADHD Podcast. Kristen Carder, an ADHD coach diagnosed at 21, puts out bitesize episodes of 12 to 16 minutes between longer ones.
- You want experts rather than lived experience. The ADHD Experts Podcast from ADDitude magazine: an hour a week of specialists answering questions from adults and parents. Hear anything about diagnosis or medication as American context.
Does it matter if an ADHD podcast is American?
It matters when the conversation is about diagnosis, prescriptions, insurance or employment law, because none of that works the same way in the UK. It matters much less for episodes about daily life, relationships, work habits or how an ADHD diagnosis feels.
On US shows, hear anything about getting assessed, medication brands or workplace rights as American context. For the UK picture, the NHS covers how ADHD is diagnosed, and our Access to Work and reasonable adjustments guides cover work. UK-made shows such as ADHD Chatter are more likely to mention NHS waiting lists and UK services, but they are conversations, not guidance.
Things to know
- We have not listened to every episode. Hosts, lengths and release dates are from Apple Podcasts and the hosts' own sites on 11 September 2026. We describe each show by its format and who makes it, not by how good any single episode is.
- Podcasts are not medical advice. Guests often share personal views on medication, diet or diagnosis. What works for one person is their experience, not a recommendation. Take questions about your own ADHD to your GP or prescriber.
- Statuses change. Paused shows restart and weekly shows stop. We will update this guide when they do.
- Ads and explicit tags. Some shows run ads or sponsorship reads, and Divergent Conversations is marked explicit on Apple Podcasts.
- The Apple store label. Apple's UK store shows "United Kingdom" on every page. That is the store, not where the show is made; we used the hosts' own pages for that.
- Controversy. We found no reputable reporting of controversy about these shows or hosts when we checked. We did not search every show exhaustively.
